In the U.S. the film was released in theaters June 19, 1954, except for the city of New York, where the film was released June 16. In Italy the film was distributed by Warner Bros Italy in the same year.

Two policemen roamed the streets of the New Mexico desert, alerted by a pilot of a small reconnaissance plane found a child wandering in shock with a doll in her arms and right after a caravan destroyed by a strange hole made from the outside, called for reinforcements and an ambulance taking away the little girl in a catatonic state.
